Mii amo

Mii amo takes its name from the Yuman word for "one's journey", and the name does precise work: this is a place where the journey is interior. Set within Boynton Canyon, the red sandstone walls rise on every side and the light shifts constantly through the day from terracotta to gold to deep violet at dusk. The spa holds twenty-six treatment rooms, a dedicated consultation wing, and the Crystal Grotto — a cave space used daily for group meditation and intention-setting rituals. Journeys run three, four, seven, or ten nights and are co-created with a personal Journey Guide who shapes the programme around each guest's present moment, not a fixed formula. Programming draws on Native American healing traditions, lunar cycles, sound and light therapy, aromatherapy, movement, and mindfulness. Activities include guided red rock hikes, stargazing at the on-site observatory, and aura photography. The Hummingbird restaurant sources from the hotel's own Chef's Garden and nearby Arizona farms. Sedona's spiritual heritage — the town itself built around Yavapai Apache and Sinagua sacred sites — gives Mii amo a context that few destination spas can replicate.
