Clinic Les Alpes

Clinic Les Alpes sits in imaginatively landscaped grounds in an elevated position above Montreux, with a 360-degree view across mountains, alpine meadows, woodlands and Lake Geneva. The building is a completely restored former hotel, the Sonloup, which founder Patrick Wilson spent ten years developing into a fully-licensed inpatient medical facility. Twenty-seven private ensuite bedrooms sit in the historic chateau. Three floors below, excavated from solid rock and flooded with natural light, state-of-the-art medical and therapeutic facilities line a dedicated floor of medical spa — four treatment rooms, male and female sauna, steam bath and relaxation suites, and an indoor-outdoor infinity pool. Licensed by the Department of Health of the Canton of Vaud. The team is built around three to four dedicated doctors per patient, working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, micro-nutrition specialists, functional medicine doctors, and complementary therapists (acupuncturists, yoga and pilates instructors, art therapists, equine therapists). Programmes are built bespoke for each patient, usually over 28 days (four weeks), though stays range from 10 days to several months. For clients not yet sure whether residential care is the right move, a 12-day Assessment Pathway provides full psychological and somatic evaluation and leaves guests with a recommended treatment plan.
