Amanpuri
Amanpuri — place of peace in Sanskrit — was Aman's first property, and it remains the quietest argument for what the group has always stood for. Eighty pavilions and villas on a private peninsula above Pansea Beach, with Thai healing arts that have been practiced here long enough to become genuinely authentic.
When Amanpuri opened in 1988, it helped define what destination luxury could mean in Southeast Asia. Thirty-five years later, the 40 pavilions and 44 villas still sit within coconut groves above the Andaman Sea, and the Holistic Wellness Centre has grown into something that takes both the holistic and the medical seriously. Wellness Immersions — from three to fourteen nights — are built around in-depth assessments and guided by practitioners across Thai medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, physiotherapy, and nutrition. Original Immersions focus on movement, nutrition, and therapeutic treatments; Intensive Immersions add full medical consultations and diagnostics. A recent Awareness programme, co-created with Novak Djokovic, brings a deeper attention to mindset and spiritual practice. The cuisine adapts to each guest's programme. The beach is private. The service is Aman — which is to say, it anticipates before it acts.
